Canadian Experience Class

Immigrate: Canadian Experience Class

National Occupational Classification (NOC) lists out all skill levels and sets out the criteria necessary to complete the application. You can find your NOC at HERE

Things to note:

  1. Self-employment and experience gained as a full time student cannot be used.
  2. Quebec does not use Express Entry as they select their own skilled workers.

General Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of full-time, or equivalent of part time, legally authorized work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply
  • You meet or exceed the required language levels needed for the skill level of your work experience in each language ability (speaking, reading, writing and listening)

Filing Process:

The filing process for permanent residence through the Canadian Experience Class begins with the obtaining of all documentation and information needed to create your Express Entry profile. Once you have all your evidence and information you can create and submit your profile. Thereafter you have to wait for an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence, which is generated based on your score and rank in the Express Entry pool using the Comprehensive Ranking System. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile.html
